Earn a doctorate degree designed for aspiring and current leaders looking to enhance their leadership skills and make an impact in their organization and community.
The 51-credit Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) is a three-year program with multiple start dates per year. This program has a cohort format (meaning that you'll progress through courses with a tight-knit group of students), includes a dissertation and is completed entirely online with no residency requirement. Your dissertation is also presented online.
We now offer students the opportunity to transfer up to four, three-credit courses from their previous post-master's coursework into the Ed.D. Students who transfer four, three-credit courses into the program have the potential to graduate in just over two years.
Aspiring or current leaders in the following industries make for ideal candidates for this program: K-12 education, higher education, healthcare, non-profit, financial, legal, military, and more.
Did You Know: In a recent survey, 100% of UNE Online Ed.D. respondents reported that they felt their UNE Online program was a worthwhile investment.
